My series “Morning Glory” gets the central spread of the “katern” Vonk from the Volkskrant.
13th September 2012:
I am very happy to announce that on the 13th of September I was given the 1st prize of the Photo Academy Award 2012 with my series entitled ”Morning Glory”.
In a very exciting ceremony held in the Fotomuseum den Haag, the different prizes were assigned.
I was thrilled when the name of my series was called as overall winner. I could not believe it.

JULY 2012:

I am happy to announce I received 3 nominations in total. 1x from Volkskrant Magazine, 1x from de Morgen en 1x from PhotoQ!
There is also a public prize to assign!

As nominee I will be participating with my work to a collective exhibition starting in the Fotomuseum in Den Haag and open for visits from 8th September till 7th October. After that the exhibition will move to other cities, amongst which are Amsterdam, Antwerpen, Eindhoven, Groningen en Rotterdam.

Antonio’s work has been selected to appear in the book NEW, the latest initiative of the creators of GUP magazine. A new book, a catalogue which annually presents the 100 best upcoming photographers.
